Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor will ensure that the cosmetics production site’s buildings, machinery and equipment are well maintained, safe and ready to support daily operations. You will lead both preventive and corrective maintenance activities while minimising downtime and upholding a values‑driven, healthy work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee building, facilities and machine maintenance and repairs across the site.
• Run the planned maintenance schedule and ensure all tasks are completed on time.
• Take a hands‑on approach to maintenance of facilities and production equipment.
• Manage relationships with third‑party suppliers and service providers.
• Support a safe, healthy and values‑driven working environment for the team.
• Stand in for the manager when required, keeping operations running smoothly.

Required profile

• Practical, organised and able to juggle multiple priorities.
• Strong hands‑on approach to maintenance and repairs.
• Excellent organisational, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Goal‑driven mindset with a focus on service delivery.
• Fluent verbal and written English; additional South African languages are a plus.
• Commitment to flexibility, including after‑hours availability when needed.
• Confidence working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
