Facilities Handyman

About the role

The Facilities Handyman will be responsible for the upkeep of a large complex that includes a small office block and several factory buildings in Johannesburg. The role requires a hands‑on approach to keep all areas tidy, functional and compliant with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance across office and factory spaces.
• Carry out painting, minor plumbing, tiling and fence/perimeter upkeep.
• Manage door hardware, lock and key control, and general light‑maintenance tasks.
• Ensure facilities are maintained to a high standard and report any major issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling a wide range of maintenance tasks in a facilities setting.
• Strong commitment to quality and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and, if needed, train an assistant.
