External Technical Sales Representative

About the role

An established company is looking for an experienced External Technical Sales Representative to grow a client base across Gauteng, primarily the East Rand. The role involves developing new business, maintaining existing relationships and promoting the company’s technical, mechanical and electrical products to industrial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business across Gauteng, focusing on the East Rand.
• Maintain and grow existing customer relationships.
• Identify sales opportunities and promote technical, mechanical and electrical products.
• Visit customers regularly and present tailored solutions for relevant industrial sectors.

Required profile

• Proven external sales experience.
• Relevant sales experience in power transmission, pumps, pneumatics, electronics, hydraulics or similar technical product areas.
• Experience using SAP and Salesforce systems is highly beneficial.
• Strong new‑business development and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain long‑term customer relationships.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout Gauteng.
• Professional communication, presentation and customer‑service orientation.
