External Sales Representative - Welding Rentals Industry

About the role

We are looking for an experienced External Sales Representative to promote and sell welding rental solutions across industrial sectors. The role involves building new business, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the assigned region.
• Maintain and grow existing customer accounts.
• Promote welding rental equipment and related solutions.
• Conduct regular client visits, sales presentations and prepare quotations.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Provide after‑sales support and ensure accurate reporting.
• Liaise with internal departments for stock, deliveries and customer requirements.
• Attend industry events and monitor competitor activity.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
• Minimum 2 years external sales experience in the welding industry.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation and client relationship skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
