External Sales Representative - Johannesburg

About the role

Sasso Consulting is seeking an energetic External Sales Representative to drive B2B growth in the Johannesburg and Gauteng territory. This is a field‑based, full‑time position focused on new‑business development, account expansion, and relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new corporate customers through cold calling, networking and market research.
• Secure appointments, conduct face‑to‑face meetings and present tailored product solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial presentations, and negotiate pricing within authorised limits.
• Maintain a minimum of 24 unique customer visits per week, managing routes and call cycles efficiently.
• Develop existing accounts, nurture key relationships and drive revenue growth.
• Track opportunities from initial contact through to closing, ensuring consistent pipeline management.

Required profile

• Proven track record in external B2B sales, business development or field sales.
• Highly self‑motivated, confident and able to work independently across a defined territory.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in consultative, solution‑based selling.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
