External Sales Representative – Cape Town

About the role

We are looking for an energetic External Sales Representative to promote and sell our products across the Southern and Northern suburbs of Cape Town and the West Coast. You will act as the brand ambassador, building relationships with distributors and end‑users while driving growth in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Present, promote and sell products to distributors and end‑users in the assigned territory.
• Generate and pursue leads, including cold‑calling, and nurture distributor relationships.
• Develop deep product knowledge through training and independent research.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies.
• Analyse market potential and track sales metrics using the Skynamo CRM system.
• Report insights on customer needs, competitor activity, and market trends to management.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Minimum 3 years proven sales experience, preferably in a related industry.
• Own reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned area.

What we offer

• Basic salary of R10,000 per month plus a R3,500 car allowance and R650 cell‑phone allowance.
• Commission structure with average monthly earnings of R29‑30K.
• Medical aid contribution (50% up to a cap), employee and employer provident fund contributions (5% each).
• Company credit card for business travel after probation and a fleet card after two weeks.
