Exports & Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Exports & Logistics Coordinator will support Asara Wine Estate & Hotel’s export operations, ensuring smooth movement of wine products from the winery to international customers. The role requires strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, and fluent communication in both Afrikaans and English.

Key responsibilities

• Process incoming orders and generate Pastel invoices.
• Create bills of materials and receive dry goods using Pastel.
• Manufacture and label stock within Pastel.
• Conduct monthly stock takes and maintain inventory records.
• Prepare and submit wine documentation to SAWIS (BG9 & BG11) and manage monthly SAWIS and SARS excise submissions.
• Maintain sensory validation dates for all wines.
• Prepare export documentation and liaise with freight forwarders.
• Send monthly customer statements and follow up on overdue debtors.

Required profile

• Matric qualification; tertiary qualification advantageous.
• Minimum five years’ experience in export, logistics, sales or procurement environments.
• Knowledge of SAWIS compliance regulations.
• Reliable personal transport.

Required skills

• Pastel invoicing and inventory management.
• Ezy Wine software proficiency.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with SAWIS system.
