Export Administrator – Foodservice Equipment (Johannesburg)

About the role

Our client, a leading foodservice equipment provider, is looking for a proactive Export Administrator to support international sales operations from their Johannesburg office. You will ensure smooth export processes, maintain compliance, and deliver high‑level customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Process export orders accurately using the ERP system.
• Prepare and review export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading) to meet trade regulations.
• Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs brokers.
• Support the Export Sales Manager with quotations, pro‑forma invoices and sales contracts.
• Respond to customer enquiries, maintain relationships with overseas distributors and follow up on payments.
• Monitor shipments from dispatch to delivery, provide status updates and resolve any issues.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare monthly export reports and assist with market research.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Sales, Logistics or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in export administration or international trade.
• Experience preparing export documentation and coordinating international shipments.
• Knowledge of export procedures, Incoterms and customs regulations.
