About the role
SNS Traders is hiring an experienced and reliable Seamstress/Machinist in Johannesburg. The role covers sewing, alterations and finishing of textile products, and candidates are asked to send their resume or CV.
Key responsibilities
- Sew and alter textile products
- Hem, stitch and finish garments and items
- Measure and cut where required
- Check finished products for quality
- Assist with general production requirements
Required profile
- Experience using industrial sewing machines
- Good sewing and finishing skills, able to work neatly and accurately
- Able to follow measurements and instructions
- Good attention to detail; reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with linen, towels, bedding and other textiles is an advantage
