Experienced Renal Registered Nurse – Renal Unit

About the role
A vacancy exists for an experienced Registered Nurse specialised in renal care at Life Wilgeheuwel Hospital in Johannesburg. The role is part of a professional multidisciplinary team operating in a high‑tech environment, with a strong focus on continuous education and personal development.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the renal unit in delivering high‑quality patient care while ensuring compliance with HPCSA/SANC regulations, relevant legislation and Life Healthcare policies.
- Maintain and manage an environment that supports excellent patient care and supervise sub‑ordinates to manage the unit’s workload effectively.
Required profile
- Relevant nursing qualification and registration with SANC/HPCSA.
- Experience and knowledge of acute and chronic dialysis treatments in ICU and High‑Care settings.
- Passion for patient needs, valid driver’s licence, flexibility to travel and work flexi‑hours/call system.
- Ability to operate various dialysis machine makes and models.
Required skills
- Acute and chronic dialysis treatment expertise.
- Operation of multiple dialysis machine models.
