Equipment Maintenance Technician

About the role
The Equipment Maintenance Technician will ensure continuous and stable production by troubleshooting and maintaining equipment, as well as managing jigs, fixtures and tooling trolleys in a manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct timely equipment troubleshooting and maintenance to support uninterrupted production.
- Perform daily maintenance, repair, modification and optimisation of factory jigs, fixtures and tooling trolleys.
- Independently design, fabricate and improve workshop tooling and fixtures according to actual production requirements.
Required profile
- Valid South Africa‑compliant welder certification.
- Minimum three years of hands‑on workshop maintenance and welding experience.
- Strong communication abilities and team spirit.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing workshop conditions.
- Self‑motivated with a positive learning attitude and willingness to take on new technical challenges.
