Enrolled Nurse Specialist – NNICU

About the role

The Enrolled Nurse Specialist will work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NNICU) at Life Peglerae Hospital, delivering high‑quality patient care under the guidance of the Unit Manager. This full‑time position requires adherence to SANC regulations, hospital policies, and infection‑control standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonates, ensuring compliance with SANC regulations and Life Healthcare policies.
• Maintain health, safety and infection‑control standards to create a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Utilise resources efficiently and ensure proper maintenance of medical equipment.
• Accurately document patient information and treatment details.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and health conditions.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Required profile

• Qualified Enrolled Nurse with current SANC registration.
• Experience working in a NNICU or similar neonatal environment.
• Ability to work rotating shifts as required by the hospital.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with patients and staff.
• Understanding of private‑healthcare dynamics is an advantage.
