Enrolled Nurse – Paediatric Ward

About the role

The Enrolled Nurse will provide direct and indirect nursing care to children on the Paediatric Ward of Netcare Margate Hospital. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will contribute to high‑quality patient care in a safe, therapeutic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to individual patients or groups as directed by the Registered Nurse.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and assist with file compilation.
• Ensure proper stock management, equipment use, cleaning, and storage.
• Uphold a clean, safe, and hazard‑free ward, adhering to waste‑management and occupational safety policies.
• Report risks, equipment issues, and maintain professional conduct in line with hospital policies.
• Supervise Enrolled Nursing Assistants (ENAs) as required.

Required profile

• Qualified Enrolled Nurse (e/n) registered to practice in South Africa.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and professional standards.
