About the role
Our client, a private Eye Institute in Pretoria, is seeking Enrolled Nurses with general ward experience to cover part‑time shifts. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care in a specialised eye‑care environment while adhering to professional nursing standards.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care within the scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with legal requirements.
- Conduct patient care audits and manage medico‑legal risks.
- Control stock and equipment according to the client’s policies.
- Uphold patients’ rights and ensure a safe clinical environment.
Required profile
- Valid SANC licence and immediate availability.
- Own indemnity cover.
- Post‑qualification experience in general wards.
- Competence in relevant clinical procedures.
- Good understanding of the nursing scope of practice.
