Enrolled Nurse - Cath Lab

About the role

The Enrolled Nurse will provide safe, quality nursing care in the Cath Lab at Mediclinic Vergelegen, working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and a positive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with the multi‑disciplinary team.
• Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety.
• Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
• Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence.
• Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged.

Required profile

• Enrolled Nurse Certificate (essential education).
• No minimum experience required; 1 year post‑qualification experience preferred for specialised unit placement.
• Basic life support trained.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control, pharmacology, scientific nursing principles, patient assessment, nursing processes, relevant legislation, care planning and risk identification.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
