About the role
Life Wilgers Hospital is seeking Enrolled Nurses to join the Cardiology unit in Pretoria. The role reports to the Unit Manager and focuses on delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients within the department.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out basic nursing duties as allocated by the Unit Manager.
- Provide excellent patient and customer care in line with Life Healthcare standards.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, relatives and the multidisciplinary team.
- Build professional relationships with doctors and therapists to support patient‑doctor interaction.
- Uphold all health, safety and infection‑control standards.
Required profile
- Qualified Enrolled Nurse registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Strong customer orientation, energetic, well‑organized and a team player.
- Ability to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in theatre on a flexi‑hours system.
