Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary – Two Positions

About the role

Life Healthcare Group is seeking two Enrolled Nurse Auxiliaries to join the Baneng Care Centre in Johannesburg. Reporting to the Unit Manager, the successful candidates will deliver high‑quality patient care while supporting the centre’s operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in quality management programmes, complete monthly evaluator cards and attend ward meetings to ensure compliance with QMS audit standards.
• Maintain infection‑control standards, adhere to PPE protocols and follow safety measures.
• Manage stock accurately, report patient discharges or transfers, and ensure proper equipment usage and maintenance.
• Provide direct patient care, including hygiene, comfort, safety, wound care, fluid intake monitoring and assistance with surgical or diagnostic procedures.
• Support internal and external customers, mentor new staff during orientation and promote a collaborative work environment.

Required profile

• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• Driver’s licence and ability to travel between facilities.
• Understanding of the private healthcare industry is advantageous.
• Strong problem‑solving, resilience and communication abilities.
