Engineered-to-Order Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Sandvik Rock Processing is seeking an Engineered-to-Order (ETO) Mechanical Engineer to join the Screening Division. You will work on customer‑specific design and engineering projects for screening and feeding machinery, supporting the EMEA region from one of our hubs.

Key responsibilities

• Create 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings for screening equipment.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) in the Teamcenter PLM system.
• Support the regional engineering team on SM range screen ETO projects.
• Provide technical support throughout engineering projects and related activities.
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Production teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Communicate with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive project delivery.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design.
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in the crushing and screening (mining or aggregates) industry is a plus.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in 3D CAD design software (Siemens NX preferred).
• Experience using Teamcenter PLM for BOM management.
• Design of large welded structures and/or vibrating equipment.
• Solid mechanical design and engineering problem‑solving abilities.
