Employment Lawyer / Legal Engineer

About the role

Monaco Solicitors is seeking an ambitious lawyer to join its remote team and help build the next generation of legal technology. You will work alongside experienced employment lawyers and a tech team to turn legal expertise into AI‑driven tools that expand access to justice.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated legal chats, letters, and workflows to ensure quality, accuracy, and effectiveness.
• Design, test, and refine prompts that improve legal output.
• Translate traditional legal processes into AI‑driven workflows.
• Collaborate closely with developers and lawyers to implement improvements.
• Roll out new changes and monitor user interaction.
• Stay up to date with UK employment law.

Required profile

• Qualified Attorney, Advocate, or equivalent.
• Demonstrable proficiency using technology and AI.
• Strong interest in employment law.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
• Nice to have: client‑facing law firm experience, employment law experience, formal law studies.
