About the role

MHR is seeking experienced Emergency First Responders (First Aid Level 3) to cover part‑time shifts across Newcastle, Pietermaritzburg and Durban in KwaZulu‑Natal. The role involves delivering immediate medical care in emergency situations while upholding professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Administers patient care in line with the Emergency First Responder (First Aid Level 3) scope of work.

Required profile

• Advanced First Aid/First Aid or Level 3 qualification.
• Proven Emergency First Responder (First Aid Level 3) experience.
• Knowledge of the EMS environment.
• Upholds high ethical and professional standards.
• Follows instructions and adheres to procedures.
• Works accurately and thoroughly, attending to detail.
• Responds constructively to pressure and perseveres through challenges.
• Collaborates with and supports colleagues to achieve shared goals.
• Focuses on client needs and continuously improves the client experience.
