Electrician (Malelane)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified electrician to join our fruit‑juice production facility. The role involves maintaining and optimising manufacturing machinery and boiler‑house systems, primarily on night shifts and weekends with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and optimise electrical systems on production lines and boiler house.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on lathe and milling machines.
• Carry out rigging tasks and support mechanical operations as required.
• Execute arc and gas welding repairs on equipment.
• Operate forklifts and handle material movement safely.
• Provide standby support and respond to emergency breakdowns during off‑hours.

Required profile

• Matric certificate with recognised N3 electrical trade theory.
• Qualified Artisan (Electrician) with a valid trade certificate.
• Minimum five years post‑apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Own transport and personal toolset available from day one.
• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends and overtime as production demands.
• Ability to work independently in confined spaces.
