Electrical Draughtsman – AutoCAD Specialist

About the role

Network Engineering, a leading engineering solutions provider, is looking for an experienced Electrical Draughtsman to join its Johannesburg East team. The role involves creating precise electrical and instrumentation drawings for EC&I projects and supporting the engineering team throughout project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed electrical and instrumentation drawings using AutoCAD.
• Produce design documentation, schematics, cable schedules, and layout drawings.
• Support engineering teams during project execution and ensure deliverables meet client specifications.
• Verify compliance with industry standards and internal quality procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an EC&I (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Understanding of control systems, instrumentation layouts, and cable scheduling.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (essential for electrical drafting).
