About the role
The Electrical Automation Engineer will lead the design, manufacturing, and commissioning of electrical control systems for industrial plants. This senior position requires extensive experience in MCC and control panel design, PLC programming, and SCADA development.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop MCCs and control panels for plant operations.
- Generate detailed electrical drawings for manufacturing and installation.
- Program PLC systems and develop SCADA interfaces.
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and oversee plant commissioning.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure accurate panel production.
Required profile
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 8 years of experience in MCC design, control panel design, PLC & SCADA systems, and FAT.
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical engineering principles.
- South African citizenship.
