Electric Charging Station Coordinator and Fleet Administrator

About the role
We are looking for a proactive Charging Station Coordinator to manage the daily operations of electric vehicle charging stations across various malls in Johannesburg. The role includes overseeing maintenance, installations, and providing administrative support to ensure reliable service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor operational status and performance of all EV charging stations.
- Coordinate installation, commissioning, relocation, and decommissioning of stations.
- Schedule preventative maintenance and emergency repairs with technicians and service providers.
- Respond promptly to charger faults, outages, and customer complaints.
- Track maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution.
- Liaise with property owners, landlords, municipalities, contractors, and utility providers.
- Use remote management software to monitor charger uptime, performance, and availability.
- Escalate technical issues to appropriate support teams when required.
- Manage inventory of charging equipment and spare parts.
- Ensure installations comply with company standards, electrical regulations, and health & safety requirements.
- Prepare operational reports on charger performance, maintenance, and downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of service history, warranties, and asset registers.
- Assist with project planning for new charging station rollouts.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and service-related documentation.
- Support customer onboarding and provide guidance on charger usage.
- Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met by contractors and suppliers.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
- 2–3 years’ experience in operations coordination, facilities management, project coordination, or technical administration.
- Experience in the EV charging, electrical, energy, telecommunications, or infrastructure industry is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s licence.
