ED & B-BBEE Analyst

About the role

This position supports the ED & B‑BBEE Manager in driving Economic Development and Broad‑Based Black Economic Empowerment initiatives across the organisation. You will ensure compliance with reporting obligations, assist with transformation objectives, and act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support the management and reporting of Economic Development commitments and obligations.
• Assist in compiling and reviewing ED reports and related documentation.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to gather required reporting information.
• Monitor compliance with reporting timelines and requirements.
• Track spend related to Socio‑Economic Development, Skills Development, and Enterprise Development initiatives.
• Coordinate annual Economic Development audits.
• Support the execution of B‑BBEE initiatives and transformation activities.
• Assist with B‑BBEE verification processes across the group.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for various stakeholders.
• Provide administrative support, including supplier registrations, purchase orders, invoicing, and document management.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience in B‑BBEE, Economic Development, Transformation, ESG, compliance, or a related field.
• Strong reporting, analytical, and administrative abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team.
• Experience in the renewable energy sector is advantageous.
