About the role

We are looking for an experienced East Africa Luxury Travel Consultant to join our specialist team. This client‑facing role focuses on designing and selling bespoke luxury safari itineraries for high‑net‑worth travelers, managing the full journey from enquiry to post‑travel follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Design and sell customized luxury safari itineraries across Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda and surrounding regions.
• Engage directly with high‑net‑worth clients to understand their preferences and travel motivations.
• Manage the complete client journey from initial enquiry through booking confirmation and travel completion.
• Coordinate closely with lodges, camps and local partners to ensure flawless execution of itineraries.
• Maintain strong, trust‑based client relationships through exceptional communication and service.
• Stay up‑to‑date with destination developments, new lodge openings, seasonal trends and regulatory requirements.
• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets while contributing to team performance.
• Ensure accuracy and professionalism in all itineraries, communications and CRM updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a luxury travel consultant with a strong focus on East Africa.
• In‑depth knowledge of East African destinations, lodges, camps and exclusive safari experiences.
• Track record of direct‑to‑client luxury travel sales and itinerary design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging high‑net‑worth clients.
• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail in managing complex itineraries.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.
• Passion for travel, wildlife, conservation and delivering world‑class client experiences.

Required skills

• Experience with luxury travel systems such as Wetu.
• Experience with Tourplan or similar CRM/itinerary platforms.
