E-commerce Technical Assistant (AI & Shopify)

About the role

Foxelli is looking for an E‑commerce Technical Assistant to support the IT Specialist in managing its Shopify stores and AI‑driven automation tools. The role is focused on keeping the e‑commerce ecosystem running smoothly, documenting processes, and ensuring seamless integration between platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Shopify: install, configure, test, document, and audit apps; manage staff permissions and vendor relationships.
• Build and maintain Shopify Flow automations for order tagging, customer segmentation, inventory alerts, and fraud detection.
• Develop and extend Google Apps Script integrations linking Shopify, Google Sheets, Gmail, and other SaaS tools.
• Work with REST APIs: handle requests, authentication, headers, and JSON parsing.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and n8n to generate, verify, and iterate code and workflows.
• Maintain a clean inventory of scripts, owners, triggers, and dependencies.
• Provision and revoke access across all platforms, ensuring accurate logging and timely updates.
