Driver / Storeman

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Driver/Storeman to join our service centre team at the Mokopane branch. The role combines safe vehicle operation with warehouse duties, supporting the delivery of spare parts and managing stock for our mining customers.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to zero‑harm safety practices and use PPE at all times.
• Load, unload and deliver Weir parts and spares, ensuring correct identification and documentation.
• Receive, inspect and record incoming stock using SAP.
• Pick, pack, crate and bin items for customer orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory through regular stock takes and cycle counts.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles, forklifts and overhead cranes responsibly.

Required profile

• Grade 12 certificate.
• Valid Code 10 driver’s licence with professional driver’s permit.
• Forklift and overhead crane licences.
• 2‑3 years of relevant driver/storeman experience.

Required skills

• Proficient in SAP or similar inventory systems.
• Forklift operation.
• Overhead crane operation.
• Safe driving and vehicle maintenance.
