Driver (Code 8) – Full-Time Logistics Role in Cape Town

About the role

We are looking for a dependable Driver (Code 8) to join the internal logistics crew of Get Real, South Africa’s leading house‑music festival. Based in Cape Town, you will be the backbone of daily transport, moving crew, supplies and marketing materials safely and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Transport internal staff, festival crew and partners to meetings, venues and activations across Cape Town.
• Collect and deliver signage, event equipment, merchandise and office supplies.
• Perform pre‑trip safety inspections, monitor fuel levels and arrange scheduled vehicle servicing.
• Plan and optimise routes to avoid traffic and meet time‑sensitive delivery windows.
• Keep accurate trip sheets and delivery logs documenting mileage and fuel expenses.

Required profile

• Valid South African Code 8 (Class B) driver’s licence with a clean record.
• In‑depth knowledge of Cape Town road network, major highways and event zones.
• Proven punctuality and reliability, with ability to adapt to changing schedules.
• Clear verbal English communication and a professional, courteous demeanor.
• Physical ability to assist with light loading and unloading of assets.
