About the role

Austell, a fast‑growing South African pharmaceutical company, is seeking motivated Doctor Detailing Sales Representatives for the Western Cape. You will be responsible for promoting Austell’s portfolio of medicines directly to physicians, building relationships, and supporting product adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Visit doctors and healthcare professionals across the Western Cape to present product information.
• Deliver scientific and clinical data in an engaging, compliant manner.
• Gather market intelligence and feedback from physicians.
• Achieve sales targets and report activity to the regional manager.
• Maintain accurate records of calls and samples distributed.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in a medical science discipline (e.g., Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, Microbiology).
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the region.
• Motivation to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
