Dispatcher – Luxury Vehicles (Fixed-Term, 12 months)

About the role
The Dispatcher will manage the allocation of luxury vehicle transfers and disposals, ensuring fairness, accuracy, and timely execution. This fixed‑term position supports the Chauffeur Drive service by monitoring daily manifests, handling exceptions, and coordinating resources.
Key responsibilities
- Create, amend, and monitor customer bookings to maximise revenue.
- Allocate chauffeurs and vehicles to transfers, escalating shortages to supervisors.
- Communicate clearly with chauffeurs, colleagues, and external partners.
- Handle special requests (e.g., baby seats, trailers) and provide itineraries.
- Report incidents, lost property, and service issues in the AS400 system.
- Participate in team huddles, training sessions, and shift handovers.
Required profile
- Matric (essential) and a valid driver’s licence.
- Operations experience (essential); dispatch or car‑rental experience is advantageous.
- High level of honesty and integrity; willingness to undergo a background check.
Required skills
- Proficiency with AS400 for incident reporting.
- Familiarity with Zeda Connect for information retrieval.
