Director of Learning Strategy (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is looking for a visionary leader to own and execute its academic strategy. You will translate learning‑science research into concrete curriculum, motivational design, and technology frameworks that enable students to achieve mastery in just two hours per day.

Key responsibilities

• Develop academic frameworks that turn scientific insights into actionable curriculum and product design.
• Lead execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and consistent results across school sites.
• Analyze data, conduct interviews, and observe classrooms to diagnose obstacles and recommend targeted interventions.
• Establish planning rhythms, feedback loops, and milestone tracking to keep student‑learning objectives front‑and‑center.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning at high‑profile forums, including keynote speeches and meetings with Ministries of Education, to promote systemic change.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in academic leadership, EdTech, or large‑scale curriculum implementation.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable learning outcomes and influencing education policy.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of learning‑science principles and evidence‑based instructional design.
• Experience with AI‑driven tutoring systems or adaptive learning technologies.
• Strong data‑analysis capabilities to assess performance and inform interventions.
