Director of Learning Strategy (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a visionary Director of Learning Strategy to lead the academic side of its breakthrough model that enables students to learn twice as fast in just two hours per day. This senior role is fully remote and responsible for turning rigorous learning science into operational excellence and public advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop academic frameworks that translate learning science into actionable guidance for curriculum, motivation systems, and app design.
• Facilitate execution reviews with Heads of Academics to keep school teams aligned, accountable, and results‑oriented.
• Synthesize data, interviews, and observations into ecosystem assessments, identifying high‑leverage obstacles and proposing concrete interventions.
• Ensure strategic alignment through planning cycles, feedback mechanisms, and milestone tracking focused on student learning objectives.
• Serve as the public face of 2 Hour Learning, delivering keynote presentations and engaging with ministries of education worldwide.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in academic or EdTech leadership roles, with direct responsibility for teams.
• Proven track record of designing and scaling evidence‑based learning models that deliver measurable outcomes.
• Strong ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse external audiences.
