Director of Learning Science (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a senior academic leader to drive its evidence‑based learning model. You will translate learning‑science research into operational strategies that accelerate student outcomes across diverse school environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design academic frameworks that turn learning‑science principles into curriculum, motivation, and application guidelines.
• Lead execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and performance across school sites.
• Analyze data, conduct interviews, and observe operations to identify high‑impact obstacles and recommend concrete interventions.
• Maintain strategic coherence through planning cycles, feedback mechanisms, and milestone oversight.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning publicly, delivering keynote presentations and engaging with Ministries of Education worldwide.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in academic or EdTech leadership roles, managing a formal team of staff.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable learning outcomes and leading high‑performing teams.
