Digital Projects Lead

About the role

Macmillan Education, part of Springer Nature, is seeking an experienced Digital Projects Lead to join its Digital Services team in Midrand, Johannesburg. The role will drive planning, coordination and delivery of digital initiatives that support the company’s transformation and improve its digital products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage digital projects and strategic initiatives across the business.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and resource allocations.
• Monitor progress, produce timely reports and keep stakeholders informed.
• Ensure projects are delivered on scope, within budget, quality standards and agreed timelines.
• Facilitate collaboration among cross‑functional teams and external service providers.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies and resource constraints.

Required profile

• Highly organised professional with strong collaborative abilities.
• Proven experience managing multiple priorities in complex stakeholder environments.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a results‑oriented mindset.
