Digital Marketing Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a creative and data‑savvy Digital Marketing Assistant to support TalentPop’s e‑commerce growth. Working remotely, you will help increase online visibility, engage customers, and drive traffic to our Shopify store and marketplace listings.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating, editing, and scheduling email marketing campaigns and newsletters to boost sales and customer engagement.
• Support on‑page and off‑page SEO initiatives, including keyword research and content optimisation.
• Collect, analyse, and report on campaign performance metrics such as open rates, website traffic and conversions using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Utilise AI tools to streamline content creation, research messaging, and identify emerging marketing trends.
• Update website content, banners and landing pages for promotions and product launches.
• Monitor competitor activities and help implement new digital marketing tactics across multiple channels.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience supporting digital marketing or content creation, preferably in an e‑commerce environment.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research and email‑marketing best practices.
• Excellent writing and editing abilities with a focus on brand‑consistent copy.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data organisation and basic analysis.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage several tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
