DevOps Engineer

About the role

Red & Yellow Creative School of Business is seeking a motivated and friendly DevOps Engineer to join its IT team. You will work closely with the Head of Technology to design, implement and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure that supports the school’s digital learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and support secure, scalable infrastructure and deployment workflows.
• Administer Linux‑based systems and Docker/container environments.
• Manage networking, VLANs, firewall rules and WireGuard VPNs.
• Support identity and access integrations using SAML and OIDC.
• Configure and maintain Azure Portal, Azure AD, Microsoft 365 and Intune.
• Set up and maintain NGINX reverse‑proxy and load‑balancing.
• Own monitoring and alerting with Zabbix.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, connectivity, authentication and performance issues.
• Collaborate with development and IT teams to improve reliability, security and automation.
• Document systems, standards and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Relevant IT degree (e.g., BSc Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps, infrastructure or systems engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting and production‑support mindset.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Security‑conscious with practical access‑design skills.
