Design Intern

About the role

AIPX is an agency where ideas drive its work and creatives move quickly between project teams. It is looking for a Designer Intern to support the agency in all aspects of its visual output, working with all departments to shape and deliver design across digital, motion, branding, web and internal and external communications. The intern acts as the hub for design assets and keeps a high standard of design on work of any size. The role starts remotely and will eventually join the agency in either the Rosebank or Cape Town office once it is safe to do so.

Required profile

• Relatable experience, preferably in a creative agency or creative school setting.
• Degree in Advertising, Communications, Business or similar, or a strong portfolio.
• Solutions-oriented approach when managing up.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at once.
• Team player who understands time management and quick turnaround timelines in advertising.
• A passion for creativity; an additional creative outlet or hobby is a plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Google apps and technical software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Basic knowledge of After Effects is a plus.
