Dealer Principal – Luxury Passenger Vehicle Dealership

About the role

Our client, a prestigious luxury passenger vehicle dealership in Pretoria, is seeking an experienced Dealer Principal to lead all aspects of the business. The role demands a proven leader who can drive profitability, uphold premium brand standards, and ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full dealership operation, including Sales, Aftersales, Parts, Finance and Administration.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans to increase revenue, market share and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain strong relationships with the OEM and ensure full compliance with brand standards.
• Lead, mentor and motivate departmental managers to achieve operational excellence.
• Monitor performance through financial analysis, reporting and forecasting.
• Manage budgets, expenses and drive operational efficiencies.
• Drive staff development, succession planning and performance management.
• Identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Current experience as a Dealer Principal within a luxury passenger vehicle dealership.
• Proven track record of managing a premium automotive dealership and achieving financial targets.
• Strong financial management and business leadership capabilities.
• Excellent understanding of dealership operations across Sales, Aftersales and Parts.
• Stable career history in the automotive industry.
• Valid driver’s licence and computer literacy with strong reporting and analytical skills.
