Data Scientist

About the role

We are seeking an intermediate Data Scientist to design, develop and deploy predictive models that generate actionable insights for our clients. The role involves close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders to translate complex problems into data‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns and business opportunities.
• Design, develop, validate and deploy machine‑learning and predictive models, including forecasting, classification, clustering and anomaly detection.
• Build and optimise data pipelines for data preparation, feature engineering and model training.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and statistical analysis to derive insights.
• Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, product owners and business teams, and communicate findings through reports, dashboards and presentations.
• Monitor model performance and implement improvements while ensuring data governance, security and compliance.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of hands‑on experience in data science or machine learning.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• SQL for data manipulation.
• Data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Matplotlib.
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Experience with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
