Data Capturer & Warehouse Assistant – Manufacturing & Supply

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Data Capturer & Warehouse Assistant to support our manufacturing and supply operations for baby products. The role blends accurate data entry with hands‑on warehouse tasks to keep inventory, production, and order fulfilment running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Capture purchase orders, sales orders, delivery notes, invoices and stock movements in the ERP/WMS system.
• Process goods‑received and goods‑dispatched documentation and maintain electronic and physical records.
• Assist with receiving, inspecting, recording incoming stock and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Pick, pack, label, and load/unload deliveries while ensuring safe storage.
• Participate in regular stock counts, annual stock takes and investigate discrepancies.
• Support FIFO practices, barcode and labelling systems, and stock transfers between locations.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience in data capturing and warehouse administration, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, retail or distribution.
• Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems.
• Valid driver’s licence is advantageous; forklift licence is a plus.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Proficiency in Pastel accounting software.
• Ability to work accurately with ERP/WMS and barcode/labeling systems.
