Data Analyst II – Pipeline

About the role

Capitec Bank is looking for a Data Analyst II to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, helping to design products, improve processes and measure performance.

Key responsibilities

• Transform complex data into actionable insights that support business strategy and performance.
• Lead and contribute to end‑to‑end data analysis initiatives with measurable business impact.
• Analyse large, complex datasets using advanced analytical tools and techniques.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to understand business challenges and data requirements.
• Build clear, intuitive dashboards and reports for decision‑makers.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities across products, processes and customer journeys.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Apply understanding of financial products, business processes and industry context to analysis.

Required profile

• Honours degree in Analytics, STEM or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years.
• Solid experience in data analysis, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Proven track record of delivering insights that drive business decisions and outcomes.
• Strong capability in advanced data analysis tools and statistical modelling.
• Confidence working with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Ability to explain insights clearly and influence decision‑making at different levels.
• Good understanding of financial products and industry context.
