D365 Functional Consultant

About the role

Santam Insurance’s Business Process Management CRM team is seeking a D365 Functional Consultant to work from its Head Office in Johannesburg (or Bellville). The consultant will design, configure and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions that support Customer Service, Field Service, Sales and Marketing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client business processes and design Dynamics 365 solutions using Customer Service, Field Service, Sales and Marketing modules.
• Configure entities, workflows, business rules and forms; produce detailed solution documentation and ensure integration with Santam systems.
• Conduct workshops, discovery sessions and provide strategic CRM guidance to stakeholders.
• Participate in full project lifecycles – planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment and support.
• Create user manuals, training materials and deliver end‑user training; provide post‑implementation support.
• Stay current with Dynamics 365 updates, recommend enhancements and facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience analysing business requirements and translating them into Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Experience delivering projects through all phases from design to deployment.
• Ability to lead workshops and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Strong documentation skills and awareness of risk and cost estimation.
