About the role
We are seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to join a security‑focused organisation in Johannesburg. You will help detect threats, manage risks and strengthen the overall security posture of the company.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments.
- Implement and maintain security controls.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and frameworks.
Required profile
- Experience in cyber security roles.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO and NIST.
- Familiarity with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH) are a plus.
