Customer Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join a growing UK employer, working fully remotely from South Africa. You will be the first point of contact for UK‑based customers, handling enquiries via email, live chat and phone.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer queries through email, live chat and phone in a warm, clear manner.
• Troubleshoot issues and follow them through to resolution.
• Maintain accurate notes and update records in the CRM system.
• Identify recurring problems and suggest improvements to the customer experience.
• Collaborate with other teams to provide customers with the information they need.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer service or support role.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Calm, patient approach to problem solving.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary between R16,000 and R22,000 per month (depending on experience).
• Working hours 09:00‑17:00 UK time (11:00‑19:00 SAST), Monday‑Friday.
