Customer Services Clerk

About the role

The Customer Services Clerk will deliver front‑line support to enhance the overall customer experience, following established standard operating procedures. This role is part of Absa Bank's commitment to service excellence across its African operations.

Key responsibilities

• Respond efficiently, accurately and courteously to all customer inquiries, complaints and service requests.
• Support the development and maintenance of processes within the Customer Services Centre, adhering to CMP procedures and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Monitor and control risk by ensuring all activities comply with Absa's risk, compliance, legal and regulatory policies.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to stay informed of their needs and respond promptly.
• Take ownership of personal training and development to continuously improve performance.

Required profile

• Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Business, Commerce and Management Studies.
