Customer Service & Internal Sales Agent

About the role

This position is the first point of contact for customers across the WORX, KRESS, CAT and WESCO brands. You will support sales growth by handling enquiries, processing orders and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Answer customer enquiries via phone, email and other channels.
• Provide product information, pricing, stock availability and lead times.
• Capture, process and monitor customer orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate customer records, quotations and sales documentation.
• Collaborate with external sales reps, warehouse teams and logistics partners.
• Resolve complaints, delivery issues and product queries professionally.
• Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities within the Positec portfolio.
• Prepare quotations, tenders, promotions and customer‑specific pricing.
• Continuously develop product knowledge and stay updated on new launches.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification; sales, business administration or customer service training is a plus.
• Proven experience in customer service, internal sales or order processing.
• Customer‑focused, solution‑driven mindset with strong communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional South African languages are advantageous.

Required skills

• Good computer literacy.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Experience with CRM platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
