Customer Service Associate - Arabic Moderator

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Customer Service Associate who will act as an Arabic Moderator. The position is fully remote, based in South Africa, and involves reviewing customer content and handling email enquiries in both Arabic and English while meeting Amazon’s quality and productivity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Moderate customer reviews and respond to email queries in Arabic and English.
• Maintain clear, polite, and professional communication with customers.
• Follow Amazon policies, use departmental resources and customer‑service tools, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Track and report trends to management and strive to exceed customer expectations.
• Adhere to scheduled shift patterns, including day, late, weekend and holiday coverage.

Required profile

• Minimum age 18 and legal right to work in South Africa.
• Completed NQF Level 4 qualification or Grade 12 (or higher).
• Strong written Arabic and English skills (minimum B2 level).
• Experience using a desktop computer and navigating multiple software applications.
• Availability to work rotating shifts (early, late, overnight, weekend) and at least 40 hours per week.
• Quiet, distraction‑free home office with a dedicated desk, chair and a fibre internet connection of at least 20 Mbps upload and download.
