Customer Service Advisor – Onsite in Cape Town

About the role

Join Concentrix’s vibrant Cape Town office as a Customer Service Advisor, supporting customers facing financial, mental, or physical vulnerabilities. You will work on an innovative international campaign, providing empathetic, solution‑focused assistance during UK business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess customers in vulnerable circumstances, including financial hardship.
• Listen actively and negotiate affordable repayment plans.
• Apply company policies to deliver positive outcomes for vulnerable customers.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate clearly via phone and email.
• Collaborate with team members to meet service targets and uphold a customer‑centric culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a call‑centre environment or 6 months in utilities.
• Grade 12 qualification.
• Ability to type at least 25 wpm.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts aligned with UK business hours.
• Proficient English (minimum B2 level) with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, responsible and able to handle emotionally demanding situations.
