Customer Assistant – Fashion, Beauty & Home

About the role

Join Woolworths as a Customer Assistant in the Fashion, Beauty & Home department. You will work in a busy store environment, providing friendly service, helping customers find the right products, and supporting the overall sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their needs and offer product advice.
• Maintain stock availability on the sales floor by managing inventory and replenishing items promptly.
• Apply basic selling techniques to present product options and drive sales.
• Ensure merchandise is correctly ticketed, displayed and aligned according to visual standards.
• Keep the store and back‑of‑house areas clean, safe and well‑organized.
• Assist in monitoring stock loss and support loss‑prevention initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in retail or fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) is advantageous.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with clear verbal and written communication.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain merchandising standards.
• Basic numeracy and literacy for processing sales information.
• Reliability in attendance, dress code, hygiene and punctuality.
• Flexibility to work various shifts in a dynamic retail setting.
